Adding Your GameID

This page outlines how to use the -GameID command to add your Game ID to the current game.

The -GameID Command:

When you load into a game of Fortnite, there is a long string of letters and numbers in the top left corner (below your Fortnite name and to the left of your ping).

This string is the ID of the server you are playing on, and is how you can tell who is in the same game as you.

Using -GameID:

To enter your GameID, type the following:

-GameID <first 4 digits of Game ID>

For example, if you were in a server with the ID 1b2ckji19f0ab91k2j510gbn, you should enter the first 4 digits - 1b2c - like so:

-GameID 1b2c

Your message should be instantly deleted, and you should be able to see your name or team in the "GameID Embed" above!

Entered the wrong Game ID?

No worries - you can change it! Simply retype -GameID with the correct ID!
